Regreso a clases!
BIENVENIDOS!
COLEGIO ISAAC NEWTON
2010-2011
God is Love
Love for Juarez
A beautiful and timely presentation performed by the children. From Sonia: “PEACE… something we all long for, something so difficult to have in our city in these times. HOPE… something we will always have.”
Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas from Isaac Newton Academy! The children had a wonderful time celebrating Christmas and performing in our annual play. Click here to see the slideshow!
Mexican Revolution Celebration
Today the school had its first celebration of the Mexican Revolution. We had fun dressing up, performing, and eating. We invited the parents and everyone had a wonderful day. Click here to see the slideshow!
Mini-Handball Tournament
Our handball teams, our boys team and our girls team, competed today against two other schools and had a great time!
Video Highlighting 2008-2009
We are delighted to show you a video we have completed which showcases some of the highlights from the past year at Isaac Newton Academy. Thank you for your support that makes these things possible!
Checkmate!
Six of our students represented our school this week in a district-wide chess tournament. They all had a lot of fun and did very well. We are also very proud of Abraham and Javier for taking home the Second Place prize for the 9 year old category and the Third Place prize for the 10 year old category.
Fighting Against the Flu
Instead of spreading the flu, our kindergarteners are spreading the word of the importance of mouth cover to fight against the influenza viruses.
Out to the Library
Our kindergartners were treated to a trip downtown this week to be introduced to the library. We were pleased to be taken on a tour of the building, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary. The children learned about the catalog system, saw a huge book written completely by hand, and had much fun exploring the world of books.
